The Life Ball, which takes place annually inside Vienna City Hall, is one of the biggest AIDS charity events in the world. The aim: to help affected people in an unconventional way and to fight against the taboo status of HIV/AIDS in our society. Therefore, Life Ball is an exuberant festivity that celebrates life and makes a loud statement in the fight against HIV and AIDS – resounding across the boundaries of Vienna and Austria.

AIDS LIFE considers itself responsible to continuously promote awareness and public consciousness about HIV and AIDS. On top of organizing Life Ball and raising funds through the yearly event, numerous activities throughout the year are dedicated to education of the AIDS epidemic and promoting ways of prevention.
The Austrian mobile service company is the second largest mobile operator with 4 million customers and a market share of 32 percent. The cooperation with Life Ball includes the branding with the signature colour of the Magenta Carpet, a logo projection of the T-Mobile logo on the historic facades of the Vienna Burgtheater and branding of the seating tribunes.
Audi, the most successful premium automotive brand in Austria supports the Life Ball with an exclusive VIP Shuttle fleet of 60 Audi A8L carrying the guests and international stars at the Life Ball weekend. The one-of-a-kind Audi S1 designed by David LaChapelle was auctioned off at EUR 110,000 at the AIDS Solidarity Gala '14 - with the proceeds projects against AIDS/HIV were supported. In addition, Audi also launched a limited edition of 200 pieces A1 Life Ball Red Ribbion Edition: EUR 200 for every car sold supported projects to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV.
Since the first Life Ball in 1993 the City of Vienna is an essential partner in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Vienna shows the worlds openness, tolerance, solidarity and social responsibility by providing the Life Ball with the Vienna City Hall as a venue. Life Ball was the first global AIDS charity event, which took place in a political building.
The hotel partner which is part of the Starwood Group is a partner of Life Ball for already 9 years and supports the event with the accommodation of the international guest stars and artists performing at the Life Ball without a fee. Therefor the Starwood Group grants almost 300 room nights for free. Every year the hotel also hosts the national press conference and the official Welcome Cocktail, that takes place on the eve of the event to welcome all international stars and guests. Also the VIP shuttle has its headquarter inside the Hotel.

Red Bull is a loyal partner of Life Ball for over 14 years and helps enabling the Life Ball Boeing from New York to Vienna. The Red Bull HEAVEN Dancefloor in the Arkadenhof of the Vienna City Hall is one of the biggest and most visited dancefloors at Life Ball. Red Bull ensures that our guests have all the energy they need at Life Ball, all its side events and during the year.
M.A.C. Cosmetics stands for high quality make-up products and notices its social responsibility by supporting HIV projects through the MAC AIDS Fund. 100% of the proceeds of all MAC Viva Glam products are donated to HIV/AIDS help projects. For already five years, M.A.C. supports Life Ball with an annual donation. In addition M.A.C. provides products for the Style Bible Shooting and professional make-up Artist working backstage at the event to make up all the models for the annual Fashion Show.
The Austrian manufacturer of premium lingerie and Ready-to-Wear products based in Bregenz supports Life Ball since 2014. The focus of the cooperation is the Style Contest powered by Wolford, that awards the most beautiful costumes and crowns the Life Ball Queen. Another aspect of the cooperation focuses on the creative design of the VIP stands under inclusion of the creative flow of Life Ball and the Wolford CI.
The goal of the Vienna Tourist Board is to portray the image of Vienna as an open, tolerant and inclusive city. Therefore the Vienna Tourist Board and Life Ball already cooperate for over ten years. Life Ball in Vienna is an important medium for advertising because it combines the traditional ball culture with current lifestyle and a global humanitarian concern. The international media coverage of the event benefits the destination Vienna. Additional the Vienna Tourist Board annually invites journalists from around the world to come to Life Ball and promote the event through all its channels.
Austrian Airlines supports the Life Ball with a Boeing 777, that takes the international star guests, performers and models from New York to Vienna. During the flight, the AUA flight attendants take care of the passengers with Austrian hospitality. At the Life Ball itself the AUA hostesses have their grand entrance in their red-coloured signature uniform on the the Red Carpet when they host the Life Ball VIP-guests and accompany them to their seats.
The international oil and gas company supports Life Ball since 2013. Austria's largest listed company is committed to responsible and sustainable manner for environmental protection issues and social justice. Part of the cooperation is the traditional OMV lottery including a trip to New York for 6 people and Life Ball tickets.
The Volksgarten is the most famous club in Vienna and has a history of nearly 180 years. Every year after Life Ball Volksgarten hosts the official after-hour from 11.00pm until midday of the following day. The guests help fighting the desease by turning night into day and celebrating for a good cause. All revenues from ticketing and drinks support projects fighting against HIV and AIDS.
ART for ART, Austria's most extensive wardrobe and largest costume workshop, supports the Life Ball every year with free costumes for the Style Bible characters and the staging of the opening show. The costumes are adapted by hand individually by a team of volunteers and changed and styled to the subject and the creative energy of the Life Ball. In addition, ART for ART supports the Life Ball with scenes and props for the main stage.
The Italian coffee producing company is a third generation family-owned business and regularly receives top positions at Stiftung Warentest for the quality of its coffee. Illy supports Life Ball for the second year in a row. Part of the cooperation is the limited edition illy coffee can, which is available in supermarkets and retail stores, where a certain procentage is donated to a project supported by AIDS LIFE.
